Mark and Noelle - Maternity

It had been raining, hard, for days and Noelle and I were trying to schedule her Maternity session. We set the date for an early Sunday morning, crossed our fingers and did the rain dance in hopes we'd get lucky. Someone must have been listening because it rained before and after but during the shoot the clouds led up and gave us some of the most gorgeous and soft morning light. We had a lot of fun getting these photos and I think their personalities show through perfectly.

Newborn - Griffin

Little babies are the sweetest things and we forget so quickly just how tiny they really are when they enter the world and I was reminded of this all over again when I met 4 day old Griffin. Michelle had been talking to me about maternity photos for awhile, we finally set the date for a nice Monday afternoon. I got a call on Sunday, it was Michelle, "well, he's here" she said. Little Griffin had decided he wasn't waiting to get his photos taken, so our maternity session quickly turned into a newborn session. He was so tiny and perfect, totally content to just cuddle in your arms. Even at only 4 days old he showed his own little personality and the amount of love and admiration this family feels for this tiny creature was unmistakable and of course you could tell he sends it back, with all 6 pounds of him.

Michelle and Tyler you have a beautiful family, thank you so much for asking me to photograph them, I can't wait to see you all again.
Enjoy!

Remi and the boys

You may remember the maternity session I did for Carla, well meet Remi, and her big brothers. I met Carla at her grandparents property on the lake. It was the perfect location to capture her three little characters and that is exactly what they are. Even 6 month old Remi loved the camera and the array of expressions she gave me is priceless, and her brothers, well they weren't to shabby themselves. This is definatly one fun loving family and I'm looking forward to working with them again.

Carla had an on going joke with her friend about putting babies in gumboots so we made it happen, how cute are these!

Happy wednesday!
